Small Business Saturday Book Signings

Two book events for View 366: A Year-long Visual Story of the St. Joseph Lighthouses with Laura Kraklau are scheduled for this Saturday, November 29.

An informal Meet the Author opportunity is happening at the Box Factory for the Arts, 1101 Broad Street, St. Joseph, from 10 – 11:30 a.m. during the opening of the ginger bread house event.

A Book Signing and Meet the Author event will held at Forever Books, 312 State Street, St. Joseph, from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Books will be available for purchase at both events.

Book Signing Scheduled at Krasl Art Center

On Tuesday, November 11, 2014, Laura Kraklau will be at the Krasl Art Center in St. Joseph for an evening book signing event as part of the Krasl’s Artisans’ Market. Copies of View 366: A Year-long Visual Story of the St. Joseph Lighthouses will be available for purchase. The annual market event is a premier local holiday shopping event that focuses on the original items crafted by regional artists. In addition to her book, Laura will have a selection of note cards available in the market.

Exact times for the book signing are forthcoming.

 

Book Signing Scheduled at Forever Books in St. Joseph

On Saturday, November 29, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Laura Kraklau will be at Forever Books in St. Joseph for an author’s signing of her new book, View 366: A Year-long Visual Story of the St. Joseph Lighthouses. Forever Books is hosting Laura on Small Business Saturday, a national effort to increase shoppers’ support of small businesses and recognize that they are the backbone of our communities.

 

Book Discussion Scheduled for Nov. 7

The newly published book, View 366: A Year-long Visual Story of the St. Joseph Lighthouses, will be publicly introduced at The Box Factory for the Arts on Friday, November 7, 2014 during the Lighting the Lake event supporting the fundraising efforts to restore the St. Joseph Lighthouses.

Author and photographer Laura Kraklau will discuss her journey of taking photos of the St. Joseph lighthouses every day for one year — a leap year — from August 26, 2011 to August 25, 2012. Following the presentation, copies of the book will be available for purchase during an author’s signing.
